Promoting intercultural perspectives and thinking.
An intercultural approach is founded on the following principles:

~ An intercultural perspective sees diversity as an advantage to society, emphasising the need to engage with diversity both positively and intentionally
~ An intercultural approach is a pro-active approach, not reacting against the negative outcomes of diversity but concentrating on producing an innovative outcome from interaction
~ Through intercultural development and intercultural interaction, it is argued something new is potentially generated which can drive individual and social development
~ An intercultural approach becomes the motivation for creativity and innovation, with diversity seen as an asset and an opportunity
